Green Future Investments (GFIL) have selected Zero Carbon Capital (ZCC) as a partner who share a vision of saving the planet by investing in positive climate action. Bringing skills in both green technology and investments, the impressive team at ZCC share an unwavering focus on green innovation and science-led ideas which align completely with the objectives of GFIL.

Focusing on green investments at later stage Technology Readiness Levels (TRLs), our partnership with ZCC allows companies looking for series A, B or C funding to raise capital for the next stage of their development. This compliments our partnership with Cranfield University, as concepts in early stage TRLs are tested, creating a clear pathway for the next generation of green innovation.

Green Future Investments are part of a £20m fund, created to support companies across Europe which are developing hard science-based technologies with a minimum 0.5 Gt CO2e per year emission reduction potential. These companies include;

  • Level Nine – unlocking the next-generation of biomanufacturing
  • Ionate – smart transformers to bolster the renewable grid
  • NetZeroNitrogen – utilising bacteria to fix atmospheric nitrogen in plants
  • RepAir – low-power electrochemical direct air capture technology
