We are thrilled to announce that Green Future Investments Ltd (GFIL) and Cranfield University have officially been named winners of the ‘Sustainability Collaboration of the Year’ award at the prestigious KE Awards!
The (KE) Awards, organised by PraxisAuril, celebrate excellence in Knowledge Exchange across the UK. They highlight individuals, teams, and partnerships that drive innovation and create real-world impact.
The GFIL-Cranfield Programme, launched in 2022, aims to drive innovation in sustainability by supporting technology innovators and entrepreneurs. The programme features three-funds:
- Future Frontiers Fund: Provides £10,000 grants and mentoring for early-stage, game-changing ideas to reach proof of concept (PoC).
- Technology Accelerator Fund: Offers £50,000 for prototyping and demonstration, along with access to Cranfield University’s expertise and pilot-scale facilities.
- Entrepreneurship Fund: Supplies £25,000 convertible loans to support early stage cleantech businesses.
These funds span critical sectors like energy, agriculture, transport, and resource recovery, addressing global environmental challenges and fostering transformative solutions.
Cranfield University’s global vision for tackling urgent sustainability challenges aligns perfectly with GFIL’s mission to generate positive climate impact through action and innovation. Winning this award reflects the shared dedication of an incredible partnership, which has pushed the boundaries of what is possible in sustainability innovation.
This achievement energises us to continue scaling our impact. Together with Cranfield University, GFIL will keep driving toward a more sustainable future, empowering visionary ideas that transform our planet for the better.
We thank the KE Awards for recognising our collaboration and commitment to sustainability. This award is not just a celebration—it’s a call to action for continued innovation, partnership, and impact.
