At Green Future Investments, we’re excited to celebrate a major milestone with Let’s Go Zero: over 4,000+ schools across the UK are now committed to becoming zero carbon! Students, teachers, and staff are leading the charge toward sustainability, taking impactful steps to implement lasting changes, such as enhancing green spaces, installing energy-efficient solutions and cutting waste whilst inspiring local communities to support climate action in schools.
In partnership with Ashden, our mission to decarbonise schools continues to thrive. There are now 32 dedicated school climate action advisors in post covering the country to guide institutions on their sustainability journey; 5 zero carbon projects grantees working hard to accelerate their solutions at scale and an innovative finance project gaining momentum in bringing together key stakeholders exploring financing solutions that can fund school decarbonisation and retrofit into the future.
